Currently a third-year student at the University of Washington studying History of War and Society, and Communications, I’m interested in learning about how historical conflicts affected the populations involved in the long-term, in addition to how different groups used the media to describe these events and share information.

How have the different forms of Cold War demonstrations and citizen action been remembered? Could these still be used in today’s world?
